ecovlke's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They're Back! They're Back! Baby E has kept me busy even before he came, so I haven't been able to update as much as I use to. My daughters have been down also. Week before last my 13 year old daughter was down to see him. Friday my 11 year old daughter came over for the weekend to see him, and my 18 year old daughter, of the diary Berrywine's Tavern, came down yesterday to stay for the next two weeks. She's going to watch Baby E while we work. She brought him a lot of gifts. She even brought me a 1/12 scale flying balsa model of a Thomas Morse S4C Scout World War I fighter/trainer. It's nice to have almost all of my children here. I just wish my 13 year old could have been here this weekend, but she has started school already. It's hard to get all three of my girls together. It's only happened three times. I always feel my late daughter's presence in my heart, so it's like she's always here. She would have been two years old. I really love my children. Last weekend MMQC stepped out of the pages of her diary and into the lame, cheap 3.2 beer drinking, Denny's eating, diaper changing, Snicker's loving, World War I model building, picture painting, NDN world of Ecovlke. It was really nice to meet her in person. Unfortunately the weekend she came over there was nothing, and I mean nothing, going on in T-Town. With school starting in the area that following week there was nothing going on. We cruised around town and I took her to the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot and she promised if I came to Little Rock that she would take me on the Clinton Scandal Tour. There were several good concerts, museum shows, and even a large pow wow the weekend before she came, but there was nothing that weekend. So I hope she wasn't too bored with us. We did squeeze in an unexpected mini freak show for her with these two little orange boys at Denny's. Orange. I said orange. These boys were as orange as the sky is blue on a clear sunny day. The older ladies with them said it was from eating too much carrots and squash. Well at least they didn't have to fight them to eat their veggies. Oops! Baby E beckons... 10:01 a.m. - 2002-08-25 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
