ecovlke's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pow Wowpuff Girls Rule Pow Wowpuff Girls Rule Tonight we went to a pow wow here in Tulsa. My 13 year old daughter is visiting, and she went with us. She had been to a sundance earlier this summer with her grandma. She had an uncle who sundanced. She is Cheyenne/Arapaho/Creek/Osage. She dances at a lot of pow wows. It was Baby E's first pow wow and our first trip to the Men's Room together. We all had a really good time, and it felt good to be around a lot of native people. I saw a lot of friends that I hadn't seen in a while. We had some wonderful meatpies, and Baby E seemed to really enjoy the music provided by some of the best drum groups in Indian Country. He got a baby t-shirt that has a picture of the Gerber baby on it with braids and an eagle feather, and the caption reads "Forget The Baby Food Feed Me Frybread!"
